Bengaluru Cooker Blast: A cooker explosion on Tuesday resulted in injuries to two individuals, Sameer and Mohsin in Bengaluru's JP Nagar. Guwahati: Assam's Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH)  is facing severe backlash over its recent advisory for the female doctors and other staff urging them to not roam alone at night.

In response to this, the students reacted strongly against it and said that the authorities should improve security arrangements at the campus instead of telling them to stay in their rooms. 
 

The family of the Kolkata rape and murder victim has shared their ordeal. The victim’s father revealed that he first learned of his daughter's death from a college official, who initially claimed she had died by suicide.

He shared the news on X (formerly known as Twitter), he wrote, “Tomorrow I am going to join the protesters particularly because I’ve a daughter and little granddaughter like millions of Bengali families. We must rise to the occasion. Enough of cruelty against women. Let’s resist together. Come what may.”
