Influencer 'Food Pharmer' Who Exposed Indigo’s Unhealthy Meals Receives Note from Air India Pilots
Influencer 'Food Pharmer' received a special note from the pilots of his Air India flight on Saturday morning.
Kolkata: Influencer Revant Himatsingka, popularly known as Food Pharmer, received a special note from the pilots of his Air India flight on Saturday morning. The note was signed by “Chandni and Rinkesh,” who expressed gratitude for Himatsingka’s efforts in advocating healthier eating habits among Indians.
Himatsingka has cultivated a following of 2.6 million on Instagram and is renowned for exposing misleading marketing tactics of pre-packaged foods.

This morning, Himatsingka shared a picture of the note he received while travelling on an Air India flight. “An Air India pilot wrote this heartwarming note on a flight I took today,” he posted on X, along with the picture.
“Dear Food Pharmer (Revant), firstly thank you for opening our eyes with your amazing content,” the note read.
“Your initiative has helped India read the labels before making purchases. You’re a revolution for us and the coming generation who have now realised - ‘Padhega India tabhi toh sahi khayega India.’ It’s an honor to meet you in person. God bless you,” the note from the Air India pilots concluded.
Responding to the post, Air India, wrote on X, “We're touched by this heartfelt note, too. Hope to share the skies with you again soon!"
Who is Revant Himatsingka aka Food Pharmer
Kolkata-based Revant Himatsingka is a Wharton graduate. He encourages his audience on social media to abandon unhealthy pre-packaged meals and junk food for their well-being. He has 2.6 million followers on Instagram.
Himatsingka first gained huge attention in April 2023 with a video revealing the high sugar content in Bournvita, a beverage marketed as a health supplement for children. Despite receiving legal notice from the brand, his video led to Bournvita reducing the sugar content in its product.
Himatsingka recently in his video highlighted the high sodium content of meals served on Indigo flights, pointing out that upma, poha, and dal chawal offered onboard contain more sodium than Maggi. He said that although these food options may sound healthier than Maggi, that may not necessarily be the case.
