New Delhi: Day after a low-intensity explosive went off near the Israeli Embassy in the national capital, Delhi Police on Wednesday have identified two suspects. The police have zeroed in on these two suspects after examining CCTV footages from the site of the attack, according to sources. Currently, the cops are also probing on how the two suspects reached at the site and the route they took to get there. Earlier, the Police also received a threat letter directed at the Embassy.

Fearing a possible terror attack, Israel has issued a travel warning for India. After the explosion happened at 5.48 pm on Tuesday, the police searched the green belt area outside the Central Hindi Training Institute, which lies near the Embassy. The police also recovered a threat letter, which was found on the spot. According to sources, the letter had the marking of an organisation and a letter head. The letter was written in Hindi and the content was abusive, containing inflammatory words, as per sources. An organisation named "Sir Allah Resistance" has claimed responsibility for the attack.

The letter has been sent to forensics for verifying the fingerprints. At least six persons with bags have been found on CCTV images from the timeline of 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Close to 600 CCTV images from the adjacent APJ Abdul Kalam Road and Prithviraj Road are being looked into.
