ITS OFFICIAL: Here are the first pictures of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal as husband and wife

Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal finally tied the knot on December 12 at Ambani's residence Antilla in Mumbai. The ceremony took place at approximately 3 PM in the presence of loving family and friends. It was one of the grandest affairs when it comes to marriages and was nothing short of a spectacle. Their weddings was highly anticipated and now that it is official, the couple has joined the list of high profile figures who got married this year. Now, the first pictures of the newlyweds have also come out.

In the clicks, the two can be seen in coloured coordinated traditional outfits. Both the bride and groom can be seen in light cream coloured outfits that really shimmered and shined. They had also adorned green garlands around their necks. While Anand was sporting a sherwani in that hue, Isha adorned a lehenga ensemble. The couple's nuptials were held with much pomp and fanfare. 

The event saw some of the biggest political figures as well as celebrities in attendance. Among the celebs, those present were Manish Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Gauri Khan, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan with his entire family, Aamir Khan with wife Kiran Rao, Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas and a lot of others.

Cricket stars Sachin Tendulkar and Harbhajan Singh were also a part of the celebrations as they were clicked with their families. Lara Dutta was also snapped by the paps as she came with her husband Mahesh Bhupathi. One of the biggest highlights for the evening included the arrival of Superstar Rajinikanth with wife Latha. The occasion of the couple's nuptials also marked the veteran actor's birthday. He was all smiles as he greeted the media outside Antilla.

Overall, it looks like it is a fairytale wedding and nobody could have asked for anything grander and more spectacular than this event which is being dubbed as one of the biggest weddings ever witnessed in Asia. Before the actual marriage, a special Sangeet and Mehendi ceremony was also held in a hotel in Udaipur, which also saw the majority of film fraternity in attendance.
