JP Nadda: Government has delivered on all the promises made on OROP
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Working President JP Nadda on Sunday said that the government has delivered on its promises made with regards to OROP.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Working President JP Nadda on Sunday said that the government has delivered on its promises made with regards to One Rank One Pension (OROP). Nadda was addressing a program during the release of the BJP manifesto for the October 21 Haryana Assembly elections.
Addressing the people, JP Nadda said, "In Haryana, every family has a member of the armed forces. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said in Rewari that OROP scheme would be implemented by the government. Rs 12,000 crore has been disbursed for this provision and 22 lakh cases have been addressed in this regard without any pendency."
"Within five years, the armed forces have been equipped with 36 Rafale jets, 28 Apache helicopters, 6 submarines with nuclear weapon carrying capacity, 1.86 lakh bulletproof jackets, 83 Tejas aircraft which are replacing MiG-21 aircraft. This has been done to substantiate the 'Jai Jawan' idea," he added.
Speaking on healthcare and provisions made in this regard, Nadda said, "For healthcare, 2000 health and wellness centres will be opened in the state to prevent ailments of the people. To address the curative part, the central government has opened an AIIMS in Haryana and medical colleges have been opened in all the districts of the state. The country's biggest cancer centre, National Cancer Institute made at a cost of Rs 2,052 crore has been planned in Haryana."
Manifesto released
The manifesto was released in the presence of Chief Minister of the state Manohar Lal Khattar, National working president of BJP JP Nadda and other leaders at Hotel Lalit in Chandigarh. The manifesto is titled 'Mhare Sapne Ka Haryana' or 'My dreams of Haryana'. The party has promised an increase in farmer's income and zero tolerance to corruption. "The BJP's manifesto is based on the principles of Ram Rajya. We had given a transparent administration and zero tolerance towards corruption in our previous manifesto," Nadda said.

In a big boost to BJP who is currently in power in the state of Haryana, under Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Olympic wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt and former Indian Hockey captain Sandeep Singh joined the saffron party on September 26. Earlier on August 12, wrestler Babita Phogat and her father Mahavir Phogat joined BJP in presence of Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Kiren Rijiju. Both Dutt and Phogat have got the party ticket to contest the state polls. However, Khattar has also faced waves of anti-incumbency in the state.
