A Kerala man has escaped unhurt after being dragged by a private bus along with a scooter on Monday, September 16, in Kozhikode district. The incident has been caught on the CCTV camera at a bus stand in Engapuzha, Kozhikode. The private bus has been identified as 'Happy Top'. The bus plies on the Kodenchery to Engapuzha route, stated reports.
The unnerving incident
According to the video, as the bus hit them, the man and the scooter were tangled in the front tyre of the bus. As the bus was coming to a halt, it hit a few two-wheelers that were parked by the side of the road. It appears in the video that some locals and approached the spot to help the man, however, he pulled himself up unhurt and started walking. According to reports, the locals stopped the bus to question the driver, with a negligence case being filed against him. Further, reports stated that around two to three people were injured when the bus rammed into the two-wheelers during the halt, damaging them.
Similar incidents
Last week, the police officials found a baby crawling in the middle of the road near a forest in Munnar, Kerala. According to the CCTV report, the one-year-old had fallen off a speeding SUV, while her parents and the extended family fell asleep. The baby had then started crawling near a check post on the road in the dark. Reportedly, the baby faced some injuries on her head before was returned to her family.
In another incident last year in Bengaluru, a child had escaped unhurt with only minor injuries after being thrown off from a bike on grass. While the parents had fallen off the bike, the child was still sitting on the speeding bike till it rammed around the corner with the baby being thrown off on the grass.
