LeT terrorist arrested in J&K's Sopore

A local Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) terrorist has been arrested by security forces in the Sopore town of Baramulla district. Kashmir Police with joint team of 22 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army arrested one local active militant namely Danish Channa, affiliated with the Lashkar outfit during a cordon search operation in Sopore outskirts.
This comes after terrorists set a school on fire in the Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. This comes ahead of the examination of the school children that was scheduled to happen on Saturday. Republic TV’s sources in Kashmir have said that a lot of parents have been getting calls asking the children not give the exams in the Valley. This school was situated in the Kundalam area of Shopian and the terrorists have targeted several schools in Kulgam before this.
Terrorists have tried to disturb the peace in Kashmir valley in the past too. Ranging from various ceasefire violations to the killings of civilians, Pakistan backed terrorists have now attempted to inflict fear among the common people by targeting a school in the Shopian district of Kashmir. Sources report that this school was an examination Centre, as announced by the education board.
