Manjinder Sirsa demands justice for Sikh girl abducted in Pakistan
Manjinder Singh Sirsa has appealed to the Pakistan PM Imran Khan to take action against the abduction and conversion of an 18-year-old Sikh woman from Pakistan.
Manjinder Singh Sirsa, the Akali Dal leader has appealed to the Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan to take action against the forceful conversion of an 18-year-old Sikh woman from the Nanaka Sahib city in Pakistan. Singh posted a video on Twitter on Thursday appealing to the Pakistan officials and the Prime Minister to look into the matter. He also said that many Sikhs living in Pakistan have spoken to him and are scared of the recent events.
The family alleges no action taken by Pakistani Police
The 18-year-old, daughter of a Sikh Priest living in Pakistan was allegedly abducted by local goons on the night of August 18 and was forced to convert to Islam. In a video, shared by Manjinder Sing Sirsa, the family has alleged that even after filing an FIR with the police no action was taken by them and if the girl doesn't return home soon the entire family will set themselves on fire.
