Varanasi: A feast hosted by Bharatiya Janata Party's Bhadohi MP Vinod Kumar Bind at his office in the Karsa-da area turned into a battleground as guests, who were allegedly served mutton gravy without any pieces, created a ruckus. The situation escalated when guests, upset by the incomplete dish, slapped the youth who was serving the mutton, leading to an unruly scene that lasted several minutes. To rest his doubts, he dipped a finger into his bowl and couldn't find a single mutton piece therein.As tempers flew, he inquired the person serving the food about it, and after not receiving a satisfactory response, hurled abuses at him and slapped him.This led to a clash between the youth's companions and the caterer, forcing other guests to leave the feast. Some senior cadres and locals intervened to pacify both parties.When reporters later approached MP Bind at a public meeting of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Majhawan on Friday, he declined to comment on the incident. Umashankar Bind, who oversees the MP’s office, explained that most invitees had already consumed the food and the event was winding down when the disturbance occurred. He added that some youths, who had been drinking at a nearby country liquor shop, entered the venue uninvited, causing further tension.The whereabouts of the youths involved in the incident remained unclear, and no further details were provided by those present at the event.
