'Great Son Of India': Nita Ambani, Reliance Family Pay Tribute To Ratan Tata

Mumbai: Nita Ambani, the philanthropist, industrialist and wife of Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani on Tuesday paid tributes to the visionary Ratan Tata, who died on October 9, saying he was a 'Great son of India'. In a statement, Ambanis said that Reliance leadership and thousands of employees pay tribute to Ratan Tata at the Reliance Industries Annual Diwali dinner. Nita Ambani called Ratan Tata a 'Great Son of India', a visionary industrialist and philanthropist who always strove for society's greater good.Addressing Reliance Industries annual Diwali dinner, Nita Ambani said, “I have a solid duty to perform four days ago. We lost a great son of India. The passing of Mr. Ratan Tata filled us all with immense grief. He was a dear friend of my father-in-law, of Mukesh (her husband) and of our family. He was also a mentor to Akash, he was a visionary industrialist and a philanthropist, who always worked for society.
