Mumbai/Viral News: A man shared his ordeal in a viral post where he booked business class Air India flight (AI 105) for his office trip from New Delhi to Newark, expecting a comfortable and hassle-free journey, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

According to the viral post shared by Vineeth K on social media platform X, the seats were a mess—dirty and worn-out—and at least five out of the 35 were completely unusable. To top it off, the flight took off 25 minutes behind schedule.

Vineeth further says, Finally settling in after takeoff, sleep was a priority at 3:30 AM. But to my horror, my supposedly lie-flat seat refused to cooperate. After 10 frustrating minutes with the crew, they managed to move me to another functional seat.

The food, what I'm used to on Air India, was uncooked. And the stale fruit that accompanied it was a collective turn-off for everyone on board – most went untouched, added Vineeth.

Adding insult to injury, the in-flight entertainment system was not working. Every attempt resulted in a demoralizing "Not Found" error message.

As if the experience couldn't get any worse, the passenger discovered upon landing that his luggage had been damaged by the airline.

To the passenger's surprise Air India also deleted its post few hours after its tweet. To which passenger replied, ‘@airindia why did you delete the post?’

This entire ordeal – the bad food, dirty and worn-out seats, non-functional entertainment system, and damaged luggage – cost a whopping Rs. 500,000 for a round trip.

While Etihad offered a cheaper option, I specifically chose Air India for the direct flights. Now, I'm left wondering if the convenience was worth the utter disappointment, asserted Vineeth.
