Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina, on Saturday, held bilateral talks during the latter's 4-day visit to India. As per reports, the two world leaders held wide-ranging talks to further strengthening the overall ties between the two countries in diverse areas including defence and security, trade and connectivity. As per officials, PM Modi and his Bangladeshi counterpart also discussed about ways to boost ties in areas of defence, trade and connectivity.
Taking to Twitter, MEA Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar shared pictures of PM Modi welcoming Bangladesh PM Hasina on her visit to India. He stated that the two world leader have met for the second time in 10 days in order to exemplify the strengths of India-Bangladesh ties. The two leaders jointly inaugurated three projects and signed six-seven agreements in areas like transport, connectivity, capacity building and culture following the talks.

Earlier, the Bangladesh PM met EAM S Jaishankar in Delhi during when the EAM reaffirmed India's highest priority of relations with the neighbouring country.

Bangladesh PM Hasina in India
Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina arrived in New Delhi on Friday for her 4-day visit to India. During her visit, she also met Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Thursday and discussed a range of issues including a direct flight between Agartala and Dhaka. The Tripura CM, in a tweet, said that they had a 'fruitful interaction' and also spoke about various other issues related to Indo-Bangladesh relations. Sheikh Hasina's visit to India is aimed at strengthening the bilateral relations between the two nations, with main focus on trade and connectivity.
