PM Modi met Maharashtra-based pilot and innovator Amol Yadav on Sunday, October 20 and assisted with 'regulatory hurdles' in a project to fly a small experimental aircraft built indigenously by him. The young innovator, Amol Yadav, took the initiative of manufacturing small aircrafts in India and got a Rs. 35,000 crore deal for India's first plane factory last year. When he met the PM, Yadav was assured full support for the project. He has already built one 6-seater indigenous experimental aircraft.
Meeting between the innovator and PM
Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in a series of tweet gave out the details of the meeting between Amol Yadav and PM Modi. The tweets explain how Captain Amol Yadav pitched the idea of making an indigenous aircraft in 2016 and how the execution of the idea has been delayed because of the ‘Right to Fly’ regulations. The tweets also inform that the PMO’s office has asked the concerned authorities to remove all the “regulatory hurdles” for the project.
Celebrating Indian talent and innovative zeal.
