PM Modi speaks of Government's First Session at Ranchi, Jharkhand
Prime Minister Narendra Modi speaks of the first session of the Central Government at Ranchi, Jharkhand, while introducing an array of developmental schemes.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the inauguration of the new Jharkhand Assembly building and a multi-modal terminal at Sahibganj, spoke of the way the Parliament functioned in the first session. He stated that the functioning of the government at the Centre brought happiness and satisfaction into the lives of the people. As a consequence, the people of this country are finally content. PM Modi’s visit comes ahead of the assembly elections. The state is scheduled to have polls in October-November.

PM Modi spoke of the promise he made to the people of India. He stated that he promised a government that is going to work fast in order to deliver. Further elucidating, he said that only in the 100 days of the Government, the people have gotten to witness what the party can achieve in the long run. Speaking of the Jal Jeevan Mission, the PM mentioned how the main motive was to make sure every household in India is able to receive water. Also, speaking of the successful abolition of the triple talaq and the abrogation of Article 370, the PM mentioned how the aim was to take Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) and Ladakh and integrate it with India. The PM spoke of a variety of issues in Ranchi. He notified the people that the government is committed to development. In a historic day for Jharkhand, unveiling the Assembly building, PM Modi asserted that this is not just a building made of concrete. It is a place where the future of the people will be shaped. Furthermore, speaking of corruption, he asserted that the current government has shown what the consequences of looting can be to the corrupt parties, adding that the work to find and punish the corrupt will go on with action already being taken against some of them.
Kisan Mandhan Yojana
The PM launched multiple developmental programmes in Jharkhand. In an effort to provide aid to the grieving farmers, he introduced the Kisan Mandhan Yojana. This scheme will provide the farmers with a pension. Farmers ageing between 18 to 40 years will attain Rs 3,000 monthly pension after 60 years of age. Raghubar Das, the Chief Minister of Jharkhand notified the people that 1.16 lakh farmers have already registered themselves under this scheme.
