In a photo accessed by Republic Media Network, Prime Minister Modi could be seen sitting alongside other BJP workers during 'Abhyas Varga' on Saturday.

Instead of seeking special treatment, the Prime Minister could be seen humbly taking the chair alongside other BJP parliamentarians in the Parliament's library building for the two-day training program for the party's MP.

In addition to PM Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and BJP Working President Jagat Prakash Nadda also participated in the training.

Other attendees to arrive for the training were BJP MPs from Gorakhpur and East Delhi Ravi Kishan and Gautam Gambhir respectively. Furthermore, other lawmakers like Pragya Singh Thakur, Anurag Thakur, Giriraj Singh, and others joined in for the training.

The Abhayas Varga has been organized for all the new lawmakers of the BJP after they won the 2019 elections. The training program will focus mainly on the discipline in some of the lawmakers. The two-day program also aims to emphasize the conduct inside and outside the parliament premises. Other things on training agenda include steps to connect with the masses and addressing issues of people within different constituencies.

However, this is not the first time a training program like this has been conducted. In 2014, post-victory the BJP had organized a two-day orientation event. Meanwhile, the party has also issued a whip to its MPs to be present in Parliament for the remainder of the Budget session, from August 5 to 7.
