What is UHC 2030?
Universal Health Coverage (UHC) is about ensuring that all individuals and communities have access to the health care they need. UHC does not mean healthcare is free. It means that personal (out-of-pocket) payments do not deter people from using services and that people are protected from "catastrophic health expenditures". The UHC2030, which is hosted by the World Bank Group and the World Health Organization, is the only global health partnership which engages the private-sector in a structured way together with governments, civil society and international organization stakeholders.
The UHC2030 Private-Sector Constituency (UHC2030 PSC) is the convening platform for private sector entities wishing to exchange and collaborate on universal health coverage (UHC). The Constituency will foster dialogue, convene and collaborate with private-sectors and provide a platform for interaction with the private-sector for all UHC2030 partners and health system networks. The aim of the constituency is to be the trusted "go-to" community for private-sector engagement on universal health coverage. The World Economic Forum, the international organization for public-private cooperation, hosts the Private-Sector Constituency of UHC2030 and provides a platform for interaction for all UHC2030 partners and health systems networks.
