Days after comparing the holy ‘Ramcharitmanas‘ to ‘Potassium Cyanide‘, Education Minister of Bihar Chandra Shekhar on Monday stated that Lord Ram came to his dreams and asked to save him. Shekhar made this comment at an event in Bihar’s Supaul district in the presence of other party leaders and his supporters. The latest comment by the senior Rashtriya Janata Dal leader has sparked another political debate in the state.
According to the news agency ANI, the state’s Education Minister Chandra Shekhar had arrived in Bihar’s Supaul district, to take part in an event to mark the death anniversary of the former teacher association president Lakshmi Yadav. At the event he publicly mentioned that Lord Ram came to his dream and said that people were selling him in the market and that he should save Lord Ram.
Bihar Minister had earlier compared Ramcharitmanas to potassium cyanide
Addressing the gathering at the event, Chandra Shekhar stated, “Lord Ram was against the caste system. Make the country the way Ram ji wanted, then see how we will leave America behind.”
Further, in a gesture appearing to be making a scathing attack on the opposition political party without naming anyone, he said, “God must be saying, they are cheating me and selling me in the market. Lord Ram came in my dream and said that people were selling me in the market. Save me from being sold, it will be of great benefit to the earth. So, we are busy trying, we don’t know whether we will succeed or not.”
