A complaint was filed by BJP leaders Neelkant Bakshi and Kapil Mishra against the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj on Thursday. The complaint alleged that the CM and the AAP MLA had spread false rumours regarding NRC (National Register of Citizens), lied about the guidelines set by the Supreme Court, compared the citizens of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Rajasthan with infiltrators and disrupted the peace of the state. This complaint was filed a day after the Delhi CM that if NRC is implemented in Delhi, Manoj Tiwari will have to leave Delhi. "If NRC is implemented in Delhi, Manoj Tiwari ji will have to leave Delhi," he said.
'Causing Problems in the Law and Order of Delhi'
The complaint claims because Kejriwal spread false rumours regarding NRC, this could result in creating misunderstanding amongst the common people and also causing problems in the law and order of Delhi. This issue is of hurting the sentiments of the citizens of the national capital, claimed the BJP leaders. In the press briefing about releasing another freebie for the citizens of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal was asked about his views on the implementation of NRC as promised by the Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari. Delhi CM Kejriwal replied to that by saying Tiwari will have to leave if NRC is implemented in Delhi, hinting at the Bihari identity of the BJP chief.

Protests Arise Over NRC Comment
Protests arose over the NRC comment made by Arvind Kejriwal against Manoj Tiwari on Thursday which infuriated the people of Delhi. The protests started in the national capital outside Kejriwal's residence where the Delhi Police were trying to control the situation. After Delhi CM after the AAP President said that the Delhi BJP chief will have to leave the national capital if NRC is implemented in the Delhi on September 25, Manoj Tiwari countered Kejriwal and asked the Delhi CM if he thinks a person hailing from Purvanchal (UP-Bihar) is an 'illegal infiltrator'. Tiwari further said that Arvind Kejriwal has 'lost his mental stability' if he wants to chase out people who have migrated from other states to the national capital.
