BJP plans big PM Modi rally push for Maharashtra & Haryana polls
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address 9 rallies in Maharashtra and 4 rallies in Haryana as both the states are set to go for assembly elections soon

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address 13 election rallies across Maharashtra and Haryana as both the states are will soon go to polls. The Prime Minister will start the rallies four days before the last date of election campaigning, and address 9 rallies in Maharashtra and 4 rallies in Haryana.
PM Modi to address 9 rallies in Maharashtra and 4 rallies in Haryana
In Maharashtra, Modi will address nine rallies from October 14 and is slated to address four rallies in Haryana from October 17. "PM will not do any campaigning this week. He will start it after meeting and greeting the President of China," a source revealed. President of China Xi Jinping is slated to visit the country for an informal summit with Prime Minister Modi in the coming days, at Mahabalipuram.
10,000 workers working for rallies
Apart from the Prime Minister, other BJP leaders like Piyush Goyal, Smriti Irani and Yogi Adityanath will also address rallies for the polls in both the states. The BJP also has 10,000 workers who are working on this platform, a source said. In Maharashtra, BJP is in alliance with Shiv Sena. Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray and Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis also held a press conference to confirm the alliance on October 4. In Haryana, meanwhile, the BJP has set a target of bagging over 75 seats in the 90-member Assembly.
PM in Nashik
Earlier, the Prime Minister addressed a rally in Nashik in Maharashtra on the conclusion of the ‘Maha Jan Aadesh Yatra’, an outreach programme led by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. In this rally, the PM spoke extensively about ‘Swachh Bharat’ mission and praised the Chief Minister for his efforts in Maharashtra. He also spoke about Kashmir and blamed the Congress for the plight of Kashmiris for decades and called for making efforts to create a "new paradise" in the Valley after the withdrawal of the special status under Article 370.
