PM Narendra Modi has tweeted about the swearing-in ceremony of his and his cabinet ministers at Rashtrapati Bhavan by President Ram Nath Kovind. 

Posting images from the occasion, PM Modi spoke about his new cabinet consisting of 58 ministers calling it a good mix of youthful exuberance and experience that comes from seniority. 

He described his cabinet as those who "excelled as Parliamentarians and those who have had distinguished professional careers".

Out of the total 58 Ministers, 25 took oath as Cabinet Ministers, 9 as Ministers of State with Independent Charge and 24 as Ministers of State. Among the significant statistics, it was learnt that the average age of the Council of Ministers is 59.36.

Earlier, PM Narendra Modi removed the term 'Chowkidar' from the username of his Twitter account on Thursday, signalling the end of the need for keeping the term as people had incorporated his message of staying vigilant and fighting against corruption.
