BJP MP from East Delhi Gautam Gambhir on Monday hit out at PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti after the former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister targeted Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Taking to Twitter, the cricketer-turned-politician said that while he is all for a talk-based solution to Kashmir problem, it is "ridiculously naive" for Mehbooba Mufti to Amit Shah's process "brute".
He further added that even as history has been witness to the patience and endurance India has, if oppression ensures security for the people, so be it.
This statement came in the aftermath of the statement made by the PDP chief on Twitter in which one again batted for talks between India and Pakistan, while targeting Amit Shah. Taking to Twitter on Monday, she raked up Kashmir issue, and said that Amit Shah's approach towards solving the problem by brute forces is ridiculously naive. She called Kashmir a political problem that needs political redressal, in which she called for the involvement of all 'stakeholders' including Pakistan.
The two leaders have had a heated verbal spat on social media earlier in April following which Mehbooba Mufti ended up blocking Gautam Gambhir.
