The I.N.D.I.A alliance’s official logo was said to be launched on the third edition of the opposition meetings on Friday. But the logo launch was postponed due to contentions in its design and colour, sources said. The postponement of the opposition’s logo was also confirmed by Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut in Mumbai on Friday. While talking to the media, Raut said that logo is very important for the Alliance, it is going to be discussed today but is not going to be unveiled.

The logo was initially decided to be launched but the leaders have raised issues with the Kesariya colour in " IN " and Green colour in " D" word. Now the logo will be launched after discussions in meeting, leaders suggest that the background of Logo should have the Map of India.

Other agendas of Mumbai meet

The leaders of the opposition alliance I.N.D.I.A are scheduled to present their electoral plans for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections on Friday as the opposition gears up to challenge the NDA in 2024 Lok Sabha polls.

The leaders of the country, who have come in Maharashtra's Mumbai from all across the country, will chalk out their strategy and take action on a few issues, like establishing a coordination committee and working groups to work on their shared agenda, media strategy, coordinated actions, and programmes.

The leaders discussed informally over dinner on Thursday night the importance of settling seat sharing and creating a shared agenda in a few weeks.

In order to fully lay out their election preparations, the opposition parties will produce a joint statement after the second round of official negotiations, at which point they will also declare the coordination panel and numerous subpanels.

According to a PTI report, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has asked one representative from the leadership of each party to join the coordination committee. During the meeting in Mumbai, Mallikarjun Kharge urged the heads of different parties to put forward one candidate from each of their groups to serve on the coordination committee.

The Janata Dal (United) leader and chief minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, cautioned the opposition to be prepared for any backup plans to fight the NDA's surprise element strategies and "gimmicks" amid discussions on the unexpected calling of a special session of Parliament.

Tussle for seat-sharing

The Congress party's top brass wants to have the upper hand in the seat-sharing formula for Lok Sabha polls, and the party also wants the seat-sharing formula to be debated after state assembly elections. They think that if Congress wins in Rajasthan and Chattisgarh, it might be simpler to chalk out a plan for 2024 elections.

The Samajwadi Party leader told Congress party, according to sources who spoke to Republic, that if SP gives seats to Congress, then it will have to return the favour by giving the Samajwadi Party more seats in the state polls of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

The AAP is also demanding seats in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh in exchange for giving the seats in Delhi and Punjab to the grand old party. Congress wants to talk about the seat-sharing system following state elections because of the issue in seat sharing in state assembly elections.
