'Habit of playing politics over dead bodies'

"Mamata has a habit of playing politics over dead bodies. Without condemning the act of terrorists she is blaming the central government. This proves who she supports. Does she support Pakistan and terrorists? This is my question to her," Sinha said.

After the massacre of five Bengali labourers in Kulgam, Mamata Banerjee took to Twitter to express her agitation over the killing of the labourers, but in doing so, she blamed the Centre for the massacre.

The Kulgam attack on labourers

Unidentified terrorists killed five labourers in Katrasoo area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday evening, on October 29, which was the sixth attack over the past two weeks.  The workers originally hailed from Murshidabad of West Bengal. The attack happened on a day when the delegation of parliamentarians from the European Union visited Kashmir to talk to locals about their experience after the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir in August. The bodies of the deceased have been recovered and the one who was injured has been taken to Srinagar for further treatment. The injured labourer succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday night. The security has cordoned off the area and a massive search operation has been underway in order to nab the terrorists. Additional security forces have also been called in for the operation.
