India and its borders
India shares its land borders with seven countries across the world. This includes Bhutan, Bangladesh, China, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Nepal, and Pakistan. Further, India shares its maritime borders with Sri Lanka, Maldives and Indonesia. India's border with Pakistan- the Line of Control (LOC) is considered fragile as there are several incidences of cross-border infiltration and ceasefire violations. On the other hand, Line of Actual Control (LAC) divides India and China.
