The much-anticipated "Pran Pratishtha" ceremony for the Ram temple in Ayodhya is set to be a grand affair, with the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust extending invitations to a diverse array of notable guests. Scheduled for January 22, (according to actual Muhurat) the ceremony aims to bring together spiritual leaders, industrialists, actors, and other prominent figures from various fields.  

Guest List Overview: The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, in a press conference held in Ayodhya, unveiled the guest list for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. The invitees include seers, priests, religious leaders, administrative officers, and journalists who were stationed in Ayodhya during 1992. The secretary of the Trust, Champat Rai, highlighted the inclusive nature of the guest list, encompassing individuals from diverse backgrounds. 

Distinguished Spiritual Leaders: The guest list boasts the presence of revered spiritual leaders, such as the Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama, Baba Ramdev, and Amma of Kerala Maa Amrtanandamayi. The inclusion of religious leaders representing 125 different sects, mahants of 13 Akhadas, acharyas of six darshan, and Shankaracharyas adds a spiritual essence to the ceremony. 

Prominent Industrialists: Leading industrialists from various sectors have been invited to grace the occasion. The list includes Gautam Adani of the Adani Group, Mukesh Ambani of Reliance, Natarajan Chandrasekaran of the Tata Group, and S N Subrahmanyan of the L&T Group. Their presence emphasizes the significance of the event beyond religious boundaries. 

Celebrities and Entertainment Icons: A touch of glamour and entertainment will be added to the ceremony with the attendance of renowned actors and entertainment personalities. Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Arun Govil (who played Ram in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan TV series), film director Madhur Bhandarkar, and lyricist Prasoon Joshi are among the distinguished guests.  

Representation from Varied Professions: The guest list is not limited to spiritual leaders and celebrities; it extends to professionals from diverse fields. Army officers, scientists, and administrative officers, both former and current, who were stationed in Ayodhya around 1992, have also been invited. This inclusive approach aims to honor the contributions of individuals from different walks of life.  

National and Cultural Inclusivity: To ensure a truly national representation, the Trust has extended invitations to saints from every state, covering the length and breadth of the country from Arunachal Pradesh to Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Andaman Nicobar, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh. This broadens the cultural tapestry of the ceremony.  

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony for the Ram temple in Ayodhya is set to be a historic event, symbolizing unity in diversity. The carefully curated guest list reflects the essence of inclusivity, bringing together spiritual leaders, industrialists, actors, and professionals from various fields to celebrate this monumental occasion.   

The ceremony is not merely a religious event but a convergence of diverse perspectives, highlighting the cultural richness of India.
