Noida: A three-story building located in Noida's Sector 63 police station area of Village Baholpur collapsed on Monday, leaving a person trapped under the debris. The incident occurred while excavation work was underway near the building.
Rescue teams have rushed to the site, with efforts underway to search for survivors and assist those who may have been caught under the rubble. Pradeep Kumar, Chief Fire Officer (CFO) of Noida told ANI, "Search and rescue operations are underway. Three people have been rescued and sent to hospital. One person is likely to be trapped..."
The incident was reported near Hanuman Mandir in Bahlolpur under the Sector 63 police station area in Noida. Police and administration officials are present at the spot. More details are awaited, they added.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collapse and the extent of the damage.
