"Shame to attack hard work of Indian engineers": Piyush Goyal slams Rahul Gandhi over 'Make In India' jibe

Taking to Twitter, Rahul Gandhi targeted the Make in India campaign initiated by the NDA government after the Vande Bharat Express, popularly known as Train 18, ran into trouble its maiden return journey on Saturday.
"Modi ji, i think Make in India needs a serious rethink. Most people feel it has failed. I assure you we in the Congress are thinking very deeply about how it will be done," the Congress president wrote on Twitter on Saturday.
Retaliating to Rahul Gandhi for such brazen remarks against the Make in India campaign, Union Minister and senior BJP leader Piyush Goyal slammed the Congress president, saying it is shame to attack the hard work of the Indian technicians and labourers.
"Such a shame that you choose to attack the hard work and ingenuity of Indian engineers, technicians and labourers. It is THIS mindset which needs a reset. ‘Make In India’ is a success and a part of crores of Indian lives. Your family had 6 decades to think, wasn’t that enough?", wrote Piyush Goyal, replying to Gandhi on his tweet.
The Vande Bharat Express on Saturday, ran into some trouble while returning to Delhi from Varanasi. "It was a case of skidding wheels after the train ran over cattle," Northern Railway CPRO Deepak Kumar had said in the matter.
Meanwhile, the tickets for the next two weeks of the Vande Bharat Express have been sold out, announced Railway Minister Piyush Goyal on Sunday.
Train 18 has been manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory, Chennai, was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 15. It became India's fastest train by hitting speeds of over 180 kmph during a trial run on a section of the Delhi-Mumbai Rajdhani route
