Congress president Rahul Gandhi has been facing a huge backlash in the light of his misogynist remarks against Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Taking Rahul Gandhi's sexist comments against the Raksha Mantri into cognizance, chairperson of the National Commission for Women(NCW) Rekha Sharma slammed him on Twitter, asking the much-needed question, 'does he think women are weak?'. However, the Congress has now attacked her. The NCW chairperson had pointed out the travesty entailed in the president of a national party making a misogynistic statement, calling it an 'irony' that Rahul Gandhi considers 'an accomplished Defence Minister of the largest democracy as a weak person'.
