Shiv Sena gets support of 2 more MLAs of Prahar Janshakti Party
Shiv Sena on Saturday received the support of two more MLAs from Melghat and Achalpur assembly constituencies; both the MLAs had met Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray
Post the assembly poll results being declared in Haryana and Maharashtra on October 24, two MLAs of the Prahar Janshakti Party have extended their support to the Shiv Sena. Bachchu Kadu of Achalpur assembly constituency and Rajkumar Patel of Melghat assembly constituency met Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray on October 26.
Assembly elections in Maharashtra were conducted on October 21 and results for which were declared on October 26. The saffron alliance of the Sena and BJP won a total of 161 out of 288 assembly seats. The Bharatiya Janta Party independently won 106 seats whereas Shiv Sena won 56 seats.

Shiv Sena's ultimatum
Shiv Sena MLA Pratap Sarnaik said, "To keep the alliance intact, the formula of 50:50 in which the CM post will be shared for 2.5 years each along with the equal bifurcation of ministerial posts should be given in a written statement by the BJP to Uddhav Ji. Then this government will be formed. Till then, the government will not be formed. BJP should fulfill its promise, such is the opinion of Uddhav Ji. We have voted unanimously on this and the final decision will be taken by Uddhav Ji."
Sena demands Sena CM
Earlier, all the new Shiv Sena MLAs had met Uddhav Thackeray at his residence. Before the meeting, Shiv Sena MLAs had yet again demanded that the Yuva Sena chief Aaditya Thackeray be made the new Maharashtra Chief Minister. Multiple MLAs - including Pratap Sarnaik spoke to Republic TV to assert that the Worli MLA had a vision for a new Maharashtra and must be made the Chief Minister.
"Our main demand is that our Yuva Sena chief Aaditya Thackeray be made the CM. He has a vision for Maharashtra. Whatever our views are, we place them to our party chief Uddhav Thackeray. The youth demand that Maharashtra's CM should be Aaditya Thackeray," said an MLA.
