Srinagar: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has condemned the grenade attack at a Sunday market in Srinagar that left 11 people injured, emphasizing the need for enhanced security measures to address the rising tide of terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.Among the injured were two women, caught in the chaos when terrorists hurled a grenade toward a CRPF bunker situated near a crowded flea market in the city’s center.In a post on X (formally Twitter), Abdullah expressed his concern, stating, “The last few days have been dominated by headlines of attacks and encounters in parts of the Valley. Today's news of a grenade attack on innocent shoppers at the Sunday market in Srinagar is deeply disturbing. Karra concluded with prayers for the swift recovery of those injured.
