In the next edition of SSC exams, the Staff selection commission is conducting the JE exam. This government selection process is to hire qualified Junior Engineers in the field of Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical for different departments of the administration. The preliminary exam dates are from 23rd September 2019 to 27th September 2019. You can read the complete notice here.
The JE Admit Cards for this year were released on 14th September 2019. If you have successfully completed the form filling and online payment methods, then you can go ahead and download the SSC JE admit card. This admit card is for SSC JE Tier one preliminary exam. The admit card won't be available to you if you haven't completed formalities like uploading your picture, signature, and payment of the exam fee on your application.
Note: The admit card is a compulsion for the SSC JE exam and without bearing the same one can be prohibited from appearing for the exam.
Steps to download the SSC JE Admit Card:
- Visit the official SSC website at https://ssc.nic.in/
- Click on the 'admit card' option at the top right-hand corner of the page. It’s a green circular icon amidst other circular icons.
- The click will lead you to a list of URL’s, and the name of your region will be mentioned. Click on your region.
- It will further lead you to the SSC JE regions website. Click on the notification of the SSC JE exam for (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Quantity Surveying & Contract) (Paper – I) Examination, 2019.
- Next, click on the pop up of the ‘Download Admit Card’ and enter the following details- Registration Number and Date of Birth
- Once your Admit card appears on the screen, download the copy and take extra-printouts for future references.
Important points to remember for SSC JE Admit Card:
- Re-check all the details on the Hall ticket.
- If there is a mistake in your Admit Card, make an immediate call to the regional center for correction.
- Make sure you have an Aadhar card, or any other government recognised ID with you, along with 2-3 passport size pictures ready. You might be asked to produce the same for verification at the time of appearing for your exam.
- There are separate Admit cards for Tier one and Tier two exams. The same Admit Card cannot be used again.
- Examination center will not change post the release of the Admit card.

- Application Status Release Date: 10th September 2019
