T20 World Cup: Telangana CM Announces Residential Plot, Govt Job for Mohammed Siraj
Indian Pacer Mohammed Siraj will be allotted land by Telangana government for residence purposes in Hyderabad. He will also get a job in the state government.

Hyderabad: Indian cricketer Mohammed Siraj met with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at the latter’s residence on Tuesday. On the occasion, Chief Minister Reddy congratulated Siraj for his contributions in helping India win the T20 World Cup after 17 years.
Chief Minister Reddy also announced that Siraj will be allotted land by the state government for residence purposes in Hyderabad. He further announced that Siraj will also be offered a job at the Telangana Government.
“The Chief Minister appreciated Siraj's excellent performance in T20WorldCup2024. The officials were ordered to allot a house and a job to Siraj on behalf of the state government. The Chief Minister ordered the officials to find a suitable place in Hyderabad or nearby areas and take appropriate measures to provide government job,” said Telangana Chief Minister Office in a post on X.
Siraj played three matches in the tournament and bowled economical spells while picking just one wicket.
Meanwhile, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had recently already announced a Rs 125 crore prize money to the T20 World Cup-winning Indian team.
India defeated South Africa by 7 runs in a thrilling final. The collective performance saw India end their ICC World Cup trophy drought that lasted for 13 years and become the first team to win the T20 World Cup title unbeaten.
