Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao called on Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi on Friday. Earlier in the day, Telangana CM had also met Home Minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the National Capital.

Memorandum on issues of Telangana
In his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi that lasted more than an hour, Telangana CM KCR discussed a lot of important issues related to the development of the State. Some of the topics from the memorandum handed over to PM Modi by CM KCR include the release of Rs 450 crore - 5th installment of Assistance for backward districts in Telangana as per State Reorganisation Act, Enhancement of reservations for BC’s in employment and education (BC 37%, SC 15% , ST 10%), 16. Development of Hyderabad – Nagpur & Warangal-Hyderabad Industrial Corridors, Establishment of Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Telangana, Sanction of Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Sanction of 23 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV) in new Districts, Pending Railway Projects in Telangana State: Requirement of funds for completion and expediting the work, Financial Assistance to Mission Kakatiya and Mission Bhagiratha as recommended by NITI Aayog (Rs 5000 crores and Rs 19205 crore) and etc.
