Tragedy strikes Mumbai as gas emanates from boat, claims 2 lives and leaves 4 hospitalized

Mumbai: Two individuals lost their lives, and four others were hospitalized after being exposed to a mysterious gas emanating from a boat in Mumbai on Tuesday. The sequence of events unfolded when the owner of the boat went inside to retrieve a caught fish, only to succumb to the toxic gas.

Here’s how the tragedy unfolded 

The unfolding tragedy took a darker turn as another person rushed to assist the unconscious owner, falling victim to the same gas. 

In total, six people were rendered unconscious and immediately rushed to the hospital for urgent medical attention.

Among the hospitalized individuals, one person is currently on a ventilator, battling the severe effects of the toxic exposure. 

The remaining three are reported to be in stable condition, receiving medical care as the Mumbai Police investigates the nature and origin of the hazardous gas.
