Two Aircraft of the Surya Kiran aerobatics team has reportedly crashed at the Yelahanka airbase in Bengaluru.

Two Aircraft of the Surya Kiran Aerobatics team have reportedly crashed at the Yelahanka airbase in Bengaluru.
This crash took place during the rehearsal for the Aero India show being held from February 20 to 24.
The emergency vehicles are reaching the location and the pilots are reportedly safe.
The show is being held to display the strengthening of defence cooperation between India and the United States.
Over 100 United States Department of Defence personnel will be supporting the US delegation at the show.
US Ambassador to India Kenneth I Juster, who is head of the delegation to the Aero India show, said the United States and India were committed to strengthening defence cooperation, in line with India's status as a major defence partner.

Bengaluru Police says, "One civilian hurt. Both pilots have ejected, the debris has fallen near ISRO layout, Yelahanka new town area."

"Today morning around 1150h two Hawk aircraft of Surya Kiran Aerobatic Display Team crashed close to Yelahanka Air Force Base."
