Two traffic personnel were injured after a car dragged both of them near Ber Sarai market on Saturday evening, an official statement said.
New Delhi: Two traffic personnel were injured after a car dragged both of them near Ber Sarai market on Saturday evening, an official statement said.
Police said that cops tried to stop the car for jumping the red light however driver escaped after hitting both the officers while they were on duty.
The injured officials identified as ASI Pramod and Head Constable Sailesh were conducting mobile prosecution at the time of the incident.

A PCR call to PS Kishan Garh reported that a car struck officers while they were on duty, necessitating urgent medical assistance. The Delhi Police have classified the incident as a serious offense, with traffic police alleging that the driver's reckless behavior constituted an attempt on their lives.
“In the process, the officers were dragged approximately 20 meters before the car struck them and the driver escaped the scene. Authorities emphasize the severity of the situation, highlighting the risks traffic officers face daily while performing their duties,” police said.
Both cops were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Further investigation is underway, an official said.
