A bizarre incident that kept locals and officials on their toes for two days, crocodile was successfully rescued from a well in Karnataka's Udupi district. The reptile found itself trapped in the well of Ratnakar Udupa's house in Naguru village under Byndoor taluk.
Crocodile was rescued by concerned residents, forest officials and local authorities who quickly reached the spot. However, the crocodile, understandably frightened by the chaos around, proved to be a challenging adversary. Despite multiple attempts, the reptile initially refused to cooperate, prolonging the rescue operation.

Finally, on the second day, a combination of patience, skill, and a little bit of hard work and tricks. Officials and locals employed a net and chicken as bait to lure the crocodile out of deep well. The daring rescue was captured on camera, showcasing the dramatic moment when the reptile was finally secured.
The crocodile, after a thorough health check-up by forest officials, was released back into its natural habitat. The crocodile rescue incident caused a stir among the locals and villagers.
