The video captures students sleeping on chairs and tables, seeking refuge from the scorching Amritsar heat, which has been hovering around a brutal 45 degrees Celsius due to an ongoing heatwave.

The viral IIM Amritsar video was shared by @kadaipaneeeer on social media X and has got over a million views and numerous comments from netizens. The viral video also comes with an interesting caption that says, ‘IIM Amritsar students protested against the management to get AC installed in their hostel by sleeping in the mess that has AC. One of them said, "Modern problem requires modern solution”.’
