WATCH: Kiran Bedi is hugely impressed by how this Turkey plays a traffic cop and halts cars so its flock can cross

A video that has surfaced on the internet sees a New Hampshire turkey played crossing guard for its feathered friends — halting traffic on a two-lane road while they crossed the street. The traffic-safety-conscious animal stood in one lane with its tail feathers unfurled, blocking oncoming traffic in Litchfield, New Hampshire. 

The video shows the pack of birds safely crossing the road as traffic remains stopped, and the guard-bird then scampers across the road after all the other turkeys cross the road safely. 

The Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, Kiran Bedi seemed most impressed by the birds, who then took to Twitter to share a video of the same. She captioned the post as, "Watch this. How simple and how effectively wonderful. See this Turkey playing a traffic cop"
