Water supply to be hit in AIIMS, IIT, Vasant Vihar and other areas of Delhi | Check full list
On Wednesday and Thursday, water supply will be affected in these areas due to an interconnection work by the DMRC.
New Delhi: Several parts of the national capital are expected to be affected by water supply on Wednesday and Thursday (January 3 and 4) due to an interconnection work by the DMRC, the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) said.
It said that due to the interconnection work of 1,500 mm diameter South Delhi main line opposite to IGL gas station near Twin OHT, Paschim Vihar, Outer Ring Road and Peeragarhi near U-turn by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), prompting no water supply or available at low pressure on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning.
It advised city residents to store sufficient quantity of water in advance as per their requirements. However, water tankers will be available on request, the DJB said,

The water supply will be affected in these areas: Budella, Sagarpur, D block Janakpuri, and adjoining area Delhi Cantt (MES), Katwaria Saral, RK Puram, Moti Bagh Nanakoura, Ber Sarai, Vasant Vihar, Shanti Nikaten, Vasant Enclave, Westend colony, NDMC area, Green Park, Sufdarjung Enclave, SDA, Hauz Khass, Munirka, Kisangarh, Masjidmoth, part of Mehrauli, IIT, INU, AIIMS, Safderjung Hospital and adjoining areas of Deer Park Reservoir.
