Who is Hathras Bhole Baba? Whose Satsang Took Life of 116 People

Hathras(Uttar Pradesh): The stampede during Bhole Baba's satsang in Hathras has highlighted the challenges of crowd management. Despite obtaining permission for a limited number of people, thousands of people attend the event, leading to chaos and tragic consequences. 

Controversies during the pandemic have highlighted the difficulties in ensuring safety and order during gatherings.

Who is Hathras Bhole Baba ?

Bhole Baba, in whose satsang this incident took place, was earlier in the police department. Leaving his job, he started preaching. He is a resident of Patiali village of Etah district and is known as Sakar Vishwa Hari. 

It is said that he used to work in the intelligence department of the police. Later he left the job and started serving the devotees.

Hathras Satsang Stampede

The stampede apparently occurred due to overcrowding, Sikandara Rao police station SHO Ashish Kumar said.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed condolences to the families of those killed in the stampede. He instructed officials to reach the accident site and carry out relief measures.
