Woman Allegedly Kills Husband Over Domestic Violence In Delhi's Dwarka

New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a man was allegedly killed by his wife in Delhi’s Dwarka district, over alleged domestic violence. The incident surfaced on Tuesday after the neighbours informed the police regarding a foul smell emanating from the flat of the deceased. On information, a team of police from the Dabri police station rushed to the spot and recovered a decomposed body of the man.

The police sent the body for post-mortem to the mortuary of a nearby hospital. It came to the fore that the wife of the deceased killed the man and fled the spot. Subsequently, a case of murder was registered at the police station and a probe was initiated.

A senior police official of Dwarka district in Delhi, stated, “On August 20, a PCR call was received at Dabri police station regarding the murder of a husband by his wife.”

The police team immediately reached the crime scene.

“Upon arriving at the place of the incident Chanakya Place-II, New Delhi, a decomposed body of a man namely Sachin was found in the last room on the first floor. The Crime Team and FSL Team were called to the spot, where an inspection and photographs of the scene of the crime were conducted,” the police official said.

Prima facie it appeared that the deceased was murdered by his wife identified as Kavya on the intervening night of August 17th and 18th due to regular domestic violence between both of them.

Further legal action into the matter is being taken.
