Woman delivers baby in police vehicle with help of Gurugram cops
Both the woman and the baby have been admitted to Polyclinic in Sector-31 in Gurugram.
Gurugram: A woman on Sunday gave birth to a baby inside an Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) while she was being taken to a hospital. Police said that at around 2.15PM, they received a call seeking an ambulance for a woman who was about to deliver in Dundahera village in Haryana's Gurugram.
Upon receiving the call, EASI Vikash, constable Vikram and SPO Kamal posted on the ERV reached the place in just 7 minutes. With their discretion and understanding, the ERV staff took the pregnant woman in the ERV vehicle and headed towards the hospital.
The woman was already in labour when the police team reached her place. Meanwhile, on the way, the woman gave birth to a child, and the staff of ERV-302 helped the woman during delivery. Both the woman and the baby have been admitted to Polyclinic in Sector-31 in Gurugram. Both of them are said to be healthy.
