Bank Holiday 2024: The Reserve Bank of India ( RBI ) has released the bank holiday schedule for November 2024.
Banks will be closed for a total of 12 days this month, including holidays for regional festivals, national events, and other observances, with closures varying by location. This list also includes all Sundays, as well as the second and fourth Saturdays.

November 1 (Friday): Banks will be closed in states such as Tripura, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Maharashtra , Meghalaya , Sikkim, and Manipur for Deepavali, Kut, and Kannada Rajyotsava.
November 2 (Saturday): Banks in Gujarat , Maharashtra , Karnataka, Rajasthan , Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and other states will be closed for Diwali , Laxmi Puja, and Govardhan Puja. Note that this is the first Saturday of the month, which is not a bank holiday.
November 3 (Sunday): Banks across all Indian states and union territories (UTs) will be closed.
November 7 (Thursday): Banks will remain closed in some states, including Bengal, Bihar , and Jharkhand , for Chhath (Evening Arghya).
November 8 (Friday): Banks will remain closed in some states, such as Bihar , Jharkhand , and Meghalaya , for Chhath (Morning Arghya)/Wangala Festival.
November 9 (Saturday): Second Saturday
November 10 (Sunday): Sunday
November 15 (Friday): On the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti/Karthika Purnima/Rahas Purnima, banks will be closed in Mizoram , Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh , Orissa, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, Telangana, Arunachal Pradesh , Rajasthan , Jammu, Uttar Pradesh, Nagaland , Bengal, New Delhi, Chhattisgarh , Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh , and Srinagar.
November 17 (Sunday): Sunday
November 18 (Monday): Banks will be closed in Karnataka for Kanakadasa Jayanti.
November 23 (Saturday): In Meghalaya, banks will be closed for Seng Kutsnem. November 23 is also the fourth Saturday.
November 24 (Sunday): Sunday
From November 1-3, banks in Karnataka and Maharashtra will be closed for four consecutive days, while banks in Uttarakhand and Sikkim will have a three-day closure followed by Sunday. On November 23, banks in Meghalaya will also be closed.
During these holidays, bank branches will be unavailable; however, customers can still use digital banking services such as online banking, mobile apps, and ATMs, except in cases of scheduled maintenance.
