Viral video: Content creator paid ₹ 4.5 lakh for Air India tickets, got broken seats with no lights
She mentioned that there were wires coming out of the seats, and she saved her toddler from the broken seats as there was a risk of getting injured from them.
Imagine spending more than 4 lakh rupees and still not getting the basic services on a flight. This happened with a content creator named Shreyati Garg, as she shared her bad experience on an Air India flight from Delhi to Toronto on Instagram. Shreyati highlighted the subpar in-flight facilities even after purchasing the high-end tickets. She was travelling with her 2.5-year-old and seven-month-old kids as she recorded the video. She expressed her disappointment as the entertainment and lights in three seats were not working, leaving her and her family in the dark. The dark seats and no entertainment made her journey unpleasant, and she shared this on social media.
She wrote all the things on her Instagram account and started the caption with, “Yes! This is the service we go after paying 4.5 lakh INR to @airindia.”
In her post, she also added that despite complaining to the staff, there was no resolution for this problem. She said, "We were on an Air India flight from Delhi to Toronto, travelling with our two kids (2.5 years old and 7 months old). And let me share our travel experience. We were seated together, and unfortunately, almost everything was non-functional. From broken seats to no entertainment system, unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the broken seat handle and literally had to protect my toddler from getting hurt as all the wires were coming out of the system. And even after complaining to the crew and staff multiple times, there was no action taken. It seems they rebooted the system, but still, everything was not working. We were left helpless with two kids and had to manage everything on our own."
Her post has garnered more than 9,000 likes and 29 lakh views, but there has been no response from the airline.
