If you were fortunate enough to find yourself at Bhakti Mandir on the night of Sharad Purnima, 16th October, you were bound to have an unforgettable experience. It served as a powerful reminder that devotion to God and Guru doesn't necessitate a dull existence. One can be as spirited and exuberant as ever, channeling that energy towards the divine rather than worldly pursuits.
The night stood out for its breathtaking Maharaas Leela, a magnificent Maha Aarti performed by thousands of devotees under the radiant Sharad Purnima moon, and the vibrant cultural programs that transported all in attendance into a realm of devotion and unadulterated spirituality.
The event marked the 102nd birth anniversary of Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, the fifth original Jagadguru of the world. Born in 1922, Jagadguru Kripalu Ji articulated with great eloquence the path to attaining true bliss through God-realization. At just 34 years old, Shri Kripalu Ji was bestowed with the title of Jagadguru, after his profound discourses astonished the 500 leading scholars of the Kashi Vidvat Parishad, the foremost religious body of the time.
Key to Attaining True Happiness
The Sharad Purnima event was streamed LIVE across the social media platforms of Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj and Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat. Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Presidents HH Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji, HH Dr. Shyama Tripathi Ji, and HH Dr. Krishna Tripathi Ji congratulated all participants on the grand success of the event.
Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat (JKP), previously known as Sadhna Bhawan Trust, is a charitable religious organization established in 1970 by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj and has been taking remarkable initiatives in the fields of education, philanthropy and spirituality.
On this special occasion, JKP President HH Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji emphasized the vital importance of surrendering to the Guru. "While it is true that the ultimate goal of human life is to receive God's grace, it is impossible to achieve without the guidance of a God-realized saint, the Guru. In fact, God and Guru are not only equal, they are one and the same. Therefore, to experience true happiness, there is no other path but to completely surrender to the Guru and follow His guidance. This alone is the key to true, unblemished happiness," she said.
