Haridwar (Uttarakhand) [India]  October 23: In the heart of Haridwar, where the holy Ganges flows with divine grace, a remarkable three-day spiritual gathering has just concluded at the esteemed Shree Karauli Shankar Mahadev Dham. This momentous event, drew over 10,000 spiritual seekers from across the globe, marking a significant milestone in the journey of Sanatan Dharma.. The event was graced by distinguished spiritual leaders, including the Ravindra puri ji, National President of the All India Council and Secretary of Mahanirvan.

The Unique Approach to Tantra

For the first time in contemporary history, we're witnessing a revolutionary approach to Tantric practices - one that can be performed within the sanctity of one's home. Historically, the mere mention of Tantra would raise eyebrows, often misunderstood and maligned. However, this gathering demonstrated how the essence of Tantra lies in systematic organization (vyavastha) rather than the misconceptions of black magic and occult practices.

Breaking Free from Fear

One of the most striking aspects of this darbar is its ability to liberate practitioners from fear. The assembled devotees, when asked if any of them experienced fear, remained silent - a testament to their complete freedom from fear, including the fear of death itself. This fearlessness comes from their deep connection with Mahakal (Lord Shiva).

The Power of Faith and Healing

The gathering included numerous practitioners who had experienced remarkable healings. Many who arrived burdened with physical, mental, and spiritual afflictions found relief through simple prayers and devotion. A notable example is Raju Bawra from Agra, a renowned T-Series bhajan singer, who was repeatedly brought back from critical conditions through the power of devotion and the blessings of this spiritual court.

Universal Spirituality

A fundamental teaching emphasized during the gathering was the universal nature of spiritual power. The energy cultivated through these practices is available to all, regardless of religion - whether Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, or Parsi. The only prerequisite is being human; there are no barriers of caste, creed, or religion.

Understanding Sanatan Dharma

The discourse provided a profound interpretation of Sanatan Dharma. Rather than being just a religious designation, it was explained as the eternal order encompassing the five elements - air, water, fire, sky, and earth. Everything visible that has existed eternally, exists now, and will continue to exist is Sanatan. This system (vyavastha) itself is dharma, and when we protect this dharma, it protects us.

The True Meaning of Tantra

The gathering clarified that Tantra is fundamentally about systematic organization rather than the commonly misunderstood notions of black magic or sorcery. Just as scientific discoveries are meant for all humanity regardless of religious beliefs, Tantric wisdom is universal in its application and benefits

A Momentous Achievement

The gathering witnessed remarkable achievements:

  • 4,500 seekers received Tantra Diksha
  • 1,250 practitioners underwent Mantra Diksha
  • Attendees included participants from both India and abroad, all engaging in intensive spiritual practices over three days.

Mahant Ravindra Puri Ji (Ravindra puri ji is secretary of Maha Kumbh and also Global ambassador ruling on modi yogi ) emphasized the vital role of Akharas in safeguarding Indian culture and Sanatan Dharma, praising the scientific approach to Tantric practices and meditation championed by Karoli Shankar Mahadev, aimed at national welfare and societal development.

In his discourse, Puri Ji shared a beautiful and evocative story about searching for Kishan (Lord Krishna). He spoke of how one embarks on a journey seeking the divine, only to discover that the true transformation happens within oneself: "I set out to find the divine, but in the process, I myself became one with the divine." This is not just a statement, but a spiritual revelation – a realization of how deeply intertwined the seeker and the sought truly are.

Puri Ji sees Maharaj Ji as a beacon of spiritual growth, a representation of the divine order that manifests through time. He likens Maharaj Ji to the saints and sages who have appeared on Earth when most needed, sent by God in the form of Shiva's divine army. It is through such spiritual leaders that humanity finds guidance, and Puri Ji believes Maharaj Ji embodies that role in today’s world.

Their relationship, he recounts, was almost destined. From the moment Maharaj Ji arrived in Haridwar, Puri Ji felt a connection as if they had known each other for lifetimes. Their bond deepened through shared spiritual practices, and soon, Puri Ji found himself in awe of Maharaj Ji’s profound wisdom and compassion.

He also reflected on the significance of purification, both within and without. Maharaj Ji's teachings emphasize the purification of the body, mind, and soul, aligning with the age-old adage: "The first joy is a healthy body." Spiritual progress begins with physical well-being, and Maharaj Ji’s approach ensures that seekers embark on their journey from a place of health and strength. This purification, according to Puri Ji, extends to all aspects of life, from one’s inner organs (the five senses and five action senses) to one’s external interactions.

As Puri Ji elaborates, spirituality is not just about individual purification but also about the collective progress of society. He notes how Maharaj Ji has played a vital role in uplifting humanity, similar to great spiritual figures of the past like Ramanujacharya and

Shankaracharya. These figures broke the barriers of caste and creed, focusing instead on devotion and the universal connection to the divine, which Maharaj Ji continues in his own time. Just as Ramanujacharya spread the message of equality and devotion, Maharaj Ji emphasizes the oneness of all beings and the importance of spiritual practice in today’s world.

The conversation further delved into the timeless principles of Sanatan Dharma, where the eternal presence of saints and spiritual guides continues to shape the world. Puri Ji spoke of the importance of the great Acharyas like Shankaracharya and Ramanujacharya, who reformed the religious landscape in their times, just as Maharaj Ji is doing now. These great figures taught that true spirituality transcends caste and creed, as seen in their famous teachings, such as "No one asks about caste when you worship Hari (God)."

One of the most profound points Puri Ji touched upon was the idea that every system in the universe is connected to Shiva – the ultimate creator, destroyer, and sustainer. He explained how, in essence, our journey is to unite the body (Shava) with Shiva, our inner consciousness. It is in this union that the ultimate purpose of life is realized.

The narrative then shifts to the current age, where Puri Ji reflects on Maharaj Ji’s role in awakening spiritual consciousness. He sees Maharaj Ji as a modern-day embodiment of the ancient sages, whose teachings are as relevant now as they were thousands of years ago. He notes how Maharaj Ji has illuminated countless lives, providing them with the spiritual strength to navigate the challenges of today’s world.

As Puri Ji concludes, he acknowledges the role of the great saints in guiding humanity through the ages. Maharaj Ji (Guru Ji) much like Shankaracharya before him, is here to awaken the spiritual potential in all of us. His teachings remind us that we are all a part of the divine order, and that through devotion and self-purification, we can transcend the material world and find true peace.

In these times of spiritual awakening, it is a blessing to have the guidance of Maharaj Ji, whose teachings continue to inspire and elevate those on the path of enlightenment. Whether through his emphasis on physical health, his profound understanding of the universe’s spiritual systems, or his dedication to breaking down social barriers, Maharaj Ji stands as a beacon of light in today’s world, just as the great sages did in centuries past.

His words echo a timeless truth: that the journey to find God is also the journey to find oneself. Through devotion, humility, and the teachings of such enlightened masters, we can all walk this path of spiritual realization

The event concluded with a grand welcome ceremony for Mahant Ravindra Puri Ji, attended by distinguished guests, including Subodh Chapda, Shivraj Sikarwar, Dr. Umesh Sachan, and various saints and servants of the institution.

This historic gathering at Karoli Shankar Mahadev Dham signifies more than just a conference; it marks a vital step forward in preserving and propagating the timeless wisdom of Sanatan Dharma. As thousands of initiated practitioners return to their daily lives, they carry with them the sacred responsibility of maintaining these spiritual practices and contributing to the welfare of society.
