Women wake up early in the morning and take bath before starting puja rituals. They wear nice clean and traditional clothes. Women also adorn themselves with a silver necklace and locket has the picture of Ahoi Mata and they keep adding one silver bead every year. They worship it with milk, akshat and roli. Light a diya, recite the katha, offer bhog prasad to the Goddess. In the evening, break the fast after sighting the stars.
