Passive smoking is breathing-in the smoke of tobacco when someone else is smoking in your vicinity. Second-hand smoke poses a serious health risk to both smokers and non-smoking individuals. In general, children are at risk of severe health effects from second-hand smoke. Even if you don't smoke, it may also be dangerous to breathe in someone else's smoke. Secondhand smoke can be particularly harmful to the wellbeing of your children because their lungs are still growing. When you smoke or when children are exposed to second-hand, they may be in greater danger than you know.
How does passive smoking affect kids

Children of people who smoke are at increased risk of meningococcal disease, which can sometimes lead to death or injury. All age people, face problems from smoking and passive smoking. To stop these issues, it is better to quit smoking. If in case, you smoke, it is always better to stay far away from kids while smoking.
