Skincare routine: Tips for healthy skin for when you are in your 30s
With time, our body starts losing its youthfulness. People in their 30s often face skin-related issues like acne or rosacea. Here's how to combat them
As much as turning 30 is great, people admit that they all feel a little panicked over the ageing process at one point or another. And turning 30 is a crucial moment for most people. At this stage, skincare-wise, people need a little extra help in maintaining the same beauty. As with time, our body starts losing its youthfulness, people in their 30s often face skin-related issues like acne or rosacea. So, here are some skin-care tips recommended by skincare experts for people who are in their 30s-
Increase hydration
Hydration is key. A way to achieve this is to avoid harsh cleansers and use more moisturising ingredients. Try using a cleanser with plant extracts as these will help hydrate your skin more. Most plant-based moisturising agents are full of antioxidants which will help in fighting free radicals that cause premature ageing
Exfoliate
It is very important to exfoliate twice a week to get the perfect skin glow, even in the ’30s. To generate skin renewal, you need to exfoliate properly. As your dermis loses support and your skin becomes less supple, it can often turn dull as the outer layer is not being renewed regularly. Hence by using exfoliators, you can prevent the build-up of dead skin, improving tone and texture plus minimising the appearance of pores.
Cleanse
Use a cleanser with plant or fruit extract to make your skin nourished and supple. It will give your dull skin a new and fresh look all of a sudden. If you have oily skin, use a gel cleanser, and if your skin is normal or dry, hydrating formulas like creams or milk are better options.
Tone
Toning should be in your skincare routine regularly. One of the most common skin concerns among women in their 30s is an uneven skin tone. Look for a hydrating toner with ingredients like hyaluronic acid and niacinamide and correct uneven skin tone with AHA formulas. Make sure you use a toner that is free of irritants, perfumes, or preservatives.
Use antioxidants
As soon as you enter your 30s, it is time to invest more in skincare if you can. Use serums that are lightweight with a smaller molecular structure so that they can penetrate further, helping repair the skin at a deeper level. It is recommended by experts to recommend using serums containing antioxidants vitamin C and E, that will help to brighten and improving skin tone, leaving it with a radiant glow.
